We all know health is wealth…and yet living healthy seems to be a Herculean task. It’s nearing the time of the year when many of us promise to live a healthier life, exercise, do yoga, drink enough water, and such. And we know well enough how those resolutions end up.

But fear not, bestie. I get this struggle. Which is why I have for you eco-friendly and easy habits you can start today to have a healthy 2024. But Anjali, I have tried everything. I am just not consistent. I will exercise for two days and then stop.

Girl, I am like that too. For the past year I have been trying to get into the habit of yoga like my therapist suggested and let’s say, I am no more flexible or spiritual now than I was at the start of 2023. Which is why I am sharing these tips because these? They are as easy as ABC. You probably have been doing them for ages and just need to scale them up a little. And the best part? They are not harmful to planet Earth. Which is hella important given that 2023 has had some of the hottest days we have seen. If we care for nature as far as possible, we are creating a better world for ourselves. Isn’t that part of being healthy too?
Let’s get rolling, shall we?

Eco-friendly and everyday wellness tips you can start today

  • Take regular walks…or dance

Yes, yoga and exercise are great. But movement of any kind if a good way to get started with wellness. So, if you walk, run, or dance you can incorporate that in your every day life more regularly and you have a green and healthy way to give your body what it needs.
Tell you a secret? My doctor said that it is sitting for long hours that is the devil. As a content writer, I do that a lot, and the solution given to me is to get up and take a round of the house every half-an-hour or so.
Now, of course, you should consult your physician before making any chances to your lifestyle based on what worked for me, but, movement? It’s a simple way to get your body some care.
And the best part?
It costs the planet nothing.

  • Do your skincare and stay hydrated

I suck at drinking water. If I forgot to post as much as I forget to hydrate, I would be fired. And I know, I am not the only one. So, let’s please, for the sake of our skin and kidneys, set alarms on our phones and get the doctor mandated amount of H2O in our systems.
And when speaking of skin, how can we skip our eco-friendly and ethical skincare? It may seem insignificant but if it gives you joy, skincare can be both hygiene and self-care.   • Touch grass and spend time with people you love

Mei aur meri tanhaiye…me and my angst. Often, we end up spending too long with just our thoughts or phones. And one of the toughest things to do is log out. But if you can spend some time with your people, with books, with the grass, your body and mind will thank you for it.
